Very depressing burger calories list from fast food and restaurants.

I had to go through this exercise in Nutrition and it didn't hurt my feelings. I don't do fast food

and I thought it was fun to show how you can have a really nice meal fo the same calories.

Wow, makes In-N-Out burgers look like diet food. Thankfully my favorite, 5 Guys, isn't listed.

Not that I've eaten many of them.

I rarely get fast food burgers these days. Not because I don't want them, but...

...because I don't want to get hooked again!

I've lost all this weight and I don't want to go back to where I was before.

I still think one of the great simple pleasures in life is a well-made, big, drippy bbq'd cheeseburger with bacon and jalapenos.

Oy.

Me too. Isn't funny how burgers on the grill is our dinner tonight! smileys/smile.gif

White Castle seems to be within a healthy range...

they must be smaller, more like the burgers I ate in the 50's at the local car hop. I noticed in one instance that the turkey burger was more caloric than a beef burger. I make lean turkey burgers at home, and look for buns that have less calories. They are fabulous!

White Castle Burgers are more like a slider, two bites and

they're gone. Spent many a nights at the Porcelin Place in high school.
Safeway carries them frozen. I get a craving every once in awhile for them.

Has anyone noticed that it's not the burger but the addons--cheese, bacon, mayo? Even if forced....

into a fast food joint (by young companions) I never order a burger. I much prefer my own high-calorie rare burger at home where the calories do come from the meat and not the add ons
