video on how to make bread in the Vitamix

Hi Marsha!

Thanks for this! What kinda threw me though is the demo grinds the wheat/makes the bread in the standard wet blade canister and he didn't mention anything about the container one way or the other.

I'd always heard one should use the dry blade container for that (which I have, but haven't used it yet) due to scratching the container, less even grinding, heating of the flour, etc. So I'll likely try this using my dry container -- I keep trying to avoid the starchy carbs though, lol.

(The attached VM recipe shares if you start from grinding your own flour use the dry container, but if starting with you own flour one can use the wet blade.)

Thoughts?

Yes, Maria, you are right. You use the dry container for grains/bread, etc

The dry container blade throws the food up and away from the blades and grinds that way.

The wet container blades pull the food down. Dry food in the wet container would get compacted down into the corners.
