I just opened the box, got the 5200 with the extra dry blade...

What do you all make in yours?

Tips? Do's and Don'ts?

I don't have a Vitamix, but I have juiced from raw...

and we loved carrot, parsley, & apple for one. Add a some beet for color and leave off the parsley. Always mix beet greens with something else. They aren't so good for you straight. Apple and carrots are both really good to take the harsh edge off some of the less tasty veggies. We seriously loved juice. One of our favorites was watermelon. No kidding. Scrub it well and juice the whole thing. Cucumber, apple and lemon is so incredibly refreshing! You can make a really zesty salsa juice too...not too appetizing to look at, but really tasty to drink! Enjoy!

Sooo jealous! I want one. But I already have 2 perfectly good blenders...

I have a Waring and a Breville, but I REALLY want the Vitamix! I wonder if I can make green smoothies in the Breville?

Vitamix has a website with recipes, Vitamix.com.

Smoothies! Fruit, ice, milk or yogurt, or orange juice, honey, cabbage & carrots and a little

sugar free instant pudding for texture. Maybe a little vanilla or almond extract - depending on the fruit. Delicious.

I am really interested in how you like the dry blade...

My wonderful DH thought I needed one, and that was my Xmas gift. Alas

I haven't used it much at all. smileys/frown.gif
Made parsnip puree and the basil lemonade in the recipe book.
I looked at their site for recipes and didn't see much that I couldn't already do with my food processor. Maybe it's just me, and not much time these days to experiment.
Was wanting to make almond milk, that looked interesting.

I woudn't be without my vitamix. I make green smoothies every day for my breakfast. I make

fresh fruit ice cream, put frozen fruit and just a tad of Native Forest Classic Coconut milk (or milk of your choice and blend with the tapper, you firm ice cream for a couple minutes. Otherwise, if you do it like Vitamix does it, they recommend waiting til you see 4 'pillows' for soft ice cream.

I've made cold soup, hot soup....I've made oat flour, almond milk, brazil nut milk, date paste and sweetener...

Vitamixenthusiasts is a group on Yahoo; LeeAnn a Vitamix demonstrator started the group to help users be encouraged to use their Vitamix for more than just smoothies.

You should make Meryl's blizzard with your Vitamix. I use 4 frozen bananas, 2 c milk, 8 almonds, 2 medjool dates and about 4 chunks of chocolate. You'll have move from 1 to 10 quickly and then turn high with the tapper. I add a chocolate nourishing powder to mine so I use 2-1/2 c milk. It's delicious!

I'm losing weight with my green smoothies and food combining.

I have had the dry blade for some years now. . .

And I use it to grind wheat and corn and grate parmesan. I like it; it is efficient and quick.

Mistral, every one I know who does green smoothies, including myself uses 2-6 fruits with

anywhere from 1 leaf of greens to a whole pound.
It's important to use different greens...for instance, if you buy kale for your smoothies use it up and don't use it again until you've used other greens.

I usually use a variety of 2-3 greens and the next day I'll use 1 or 2 or 3 other greens.
I consistently but a few bluberries, a piece of banana, a chunk of papaya and some grapefruit, 3 prunes...I may add extras: strawberries, grapes, mango, all melons, pineapple, cherries, peaches, plums, etc.

Greens I use: swiss chard, kale, dandelion, mustard greens, turnip greens, coard greens, spinach, new zeaand ivy, bok choy, spinach, spring mix lettuces, red leaf and romaine lettuces.

I have learned, especially for mustard greens, to add a medjool date or two to combat the sharp taste of the greens.

I just blend my varieties together; if I can't tolerate the flavor, then I"ll add some other fruit or even some coconut milk. My base liquid is water.

I've given a link for Victoria Boutenko's green smoothie recipes. She travels all over the world sharing green smoothie knowledge.

one of the Vitamix demonstrators that started vitamix enthusiasts, makes a literal salad to drink. I haven't been brave enough to try it yet.

I don't put ice in my smoothies because all of my fruit and greens are frozen. Below are some green smoothies of others:

Karen-
Most of my smoothies make about 4 cups and that is all one 'meal'.

My breakfast smoothie is:
1/2 orange
1 cup strawberries
1/2 c blueberries
1/3 banana
1 T flax seed
2 handfuls of spinach (or two big green leaves of kale, collard greens,
etc.)
6 egg whites or scoop whey protein
2 cups of ice

Another smoothie I make that I will have at lunch time is:
1 orange
8 oz of spinach
2 cups ice (I want my smoothies ice cold)
=========================
KK-
This is the info i sent to someone off list this morning in regards to what I do...again, this is what I do for ME...each person has to figure out what works for THEM.

I started doing blended salads in March (not everyday at that point)....

I put the following into the Vitamix and I don't measure:

3-4 baby carrots
parsley (to taste, I happen to like it so I probably use more than some)
1/4 of a gourmet cuke or 1/2 of a regular one, peeled if not organic
kale (probably about 3 leaves torn off stem)/vary this with other greens, spinach, chard, etc
romaine or red leaf lettuce (sometimes a spring mix)
2 stalks of celery cut into chunks
a good slice of red or yellow pepper
a good slice of reg cabbage
flax seeds (about 2 TBSP)
1 whole peeled and seeded lemon cut up
I put in a generous tsp of spirulina (I just started using this this month so you could probably leave it out)
You can add zucchini if you like...sometimes I will put a wedge of avocado in...depending on what I
have at home.

Just mix this up in the vitamix, you will have to use the tamper to push it down ...add some ice and let 'er rip.

I put a small amount (1tsp) of Bragg's Amino Acids in my glass when I drink this. It makes about a quart (depending on how much water I add
and how long I blend it). You can add sea salt instead of the Bragg's or leave both out.
====================
LeeAnn (Vitamix Demonstrator)
I wanted to share my current green drink in case it someone else might like to try it...

I have been trying to attain the goal of drinking one pound of dark green leafy vegetables a day. In order to achieve that goal, I concocted this drink (because I don't want to eat salad all day).

A head of Romaine Lettuce is usually a pound or just over a pound - Romaine is what I've been using in this drink.

1/2 lg Cucumber
1 medium or 2 small Tomatoes
1 Lemon peeled
1 stalk of Celery
1/2 head of Romaine Lettuce
Some Ice to keep it cool while blending - usually a cup of ice works fine.

This is a very alkalizing and healthy drink. I've been drinking one a day on the days I use the other half of the head of lettuce in a Green Smoothie or a salad. Yesterday I drank this drink twice (to get the whole head of Romaine down).

I find it very refreshing - but then, I can tolerate a lot in the name of health!

I will be very interested if anyone tries this to hear what they think of it!

LeeAnn Vitamix Demonstator

Today my Green Smoothie consisted of:

1 whole orange peeled.

4 cups of fresh baby spinach

2 cups of ice

Blended 2-3 minutes until SMOOTH, creamy, and delicious!

The quality of the taste of this drink depends upon the quality of the
taste of the orange. Delicious orange = delicious Green Smoothie!

Most of my Green Smoothies consist of at most 3 fruits, usually 2,
often one.

I am very lazy in the kitchen - that is why I love the VM so much and I
like to keep my smoothies simple, easy, and tasty!

My breakfast almost every morning = 1/2 cantaloupe blended with 1/2 cup
of ice into a divine drink that tastes like a milk shake!

Here's more

You will get used to the taste of Greens over time. I like to joke with my audience that the Green Smoothie I serve to them is like a "Kindergarten" Green Smoothie and you can work your way up to Graduate Level smileys/smile.gif

In the beginning, try the milder tasting greens and use a 60% fruit to a 40% greens ratio. Over time you can graduate to the more bitter tasting greens and change your ratio to 50/50 then 60 to 70% greens and 40 to 30% fruits. Or, you can just stick with whatever balance works best for you! I find that the more dark green leafy vegetables I can get into my diet, the less cravings I have for junk food and the more energy I have during the day.

Here are some Greens I have tried with asterisk by the ones I use the most:
Kale*
Romaine
Baby Spinach*
Collards*
Parsley* (this took some getting used to but now I like it a lot!)
Arugula
Dandelion Greens (interesting link: http://www.rwood.com/Articles/Dandelion_Greens.htm)
Endive
Carrot Tops
Broccoli (strong flavor)
Celery (also a strong flavor)
Cucumber (another strong flavor but good for skin)
Wheat Grass*
Cabbage* (good for preventing colon cancer, link on health benefits: http://www.dietobio.com/aliments/en/cabbage.html) and remember, cabbage is one of the "magic vegetables"!

Fruits:
I've used about all of them...
Bananas are always good with fruits that are tart like raspberries and blackberries or, any greens that are on the bitter side because bananas are sweet.
I use apples whole. I peel the orange part off of an orange, but leave the white pit because that is where most of the calcium, bioflavanoids, and vitamin C is located.

Remember to follow the same directions as I gave for making Juices on my recipe page. You must start out with a mixture of either frozen fruits or ice that is very, very thick. As you blend, in about two minutes, the drink will turn liquid from the friction heat of the blades, but you stop the machine right at the time when it is still very, very cold but no longer frozen like a slushy. This allows you to break the ingredients down to the cellular (most bioavailable) level.

My Green Smoothies are rarely the same from day to day... some taste great and some, well... smileys/smile.gif LeeAnn, Vitamix Demostrator

My Newly Famous "Emerald Ecstasy" Green Smoothie Recipe
(this is the Green Smoothie that I make at a show)

Put Ingredients into the Vita-Mix in the following order:
1-2 Cups of Green Grapes
1/4 of a large Pineapple or 1/3 of a small Pineapple
One whole large Banana
Half of an Apple
3 well-packed cups of Spinach
2 cups of Ice

This will make 2-3 LARGE servings or 4-5 smaller (juice glass size) servings.

Blend according to the instructions in my Fruit Juice section (until the icy slushy mixture turns into a smooth liquid). This is a "beginner" Green Smoothie. As you get used to the taste of the greens, you can increase the proportion of greens to fruit, try out some of the "stronger tasting greens" (remember, Spinach is one of the "magic veggies"), and use fruits that are not as sweet - like berries for instance.
I encourage the readers of this article to start playing with green smoothies, and to discover the many joys and benefits of this wonderful delicious and nutritious addition to the menu.

Here are more ideas for your green creations. Some of my favorite greens to add to green smoothies: parsley, spinach, celery, kale and romaine.

Green Smoothies ¢¾

A 'green smoothie', here, banana, orange and chard

So far, my response to the mere mention of green smoothies has ranged from 'polite' to "Ewww". But that's without tasting one!

A confession: While I wanted to 'try' a green smoothie, I really didn't expect to like it. But I do! I've been experimenting with 'how much green' tastes good - I like more than less but not a lot. And for the last couple of weeks, my morning routine has included a green smoothie - often, with milk to fulfill the Weight Watchers milk/calcium requirement, so 'breakfast in a glass'. They're fast, easy, very pretty! I've collected some combinations here, just to inspire.

GREEN SMOOTHIE TIPS

The trick seems to be to start with fruit, then add green to taste. The first smoothie, I started with a single leaf of Swiss chard - and the taste was all fruit. For the second, I used two leaves of chard, brightened with lemon juice -- and this tasted decidedly bright and green and VERY alive. I loved it. The third, I used three leaves of chard, that was a bit much.

If you can, keep to 'whole' fruit (versus juice) so that you get the full benefit of fiber:calories. If need be, thin with water or milk.

Citrus juice is an important brightener.

Banana tastes 'familiar' and adds creaminess.

Milk of course adds creaminess too, even skim milk.

It takes a LOT of fresh herbs (like mint, say) to be equivalent taste- and color-wise of a single leaf of chard, say.

If extra calories are important, add an egg. This may be raw food but feel free to skip the shell. smileys/smile.gif

Green smoothies: An Apology
I have to make a public apology to regular commenter Elizabeth. When we were having this discussion back in May about sneaking healthy things into your family's food, she emailed me to say that she's started putting a little frozen spinach into fruit smoothies. She claimed that you couldn't taste the spinach at all. I attempted to be polite, but just couldn't imagine how you wouldn't taste spinach in a fruit smoothie.

I was wrong. Elizabeth is right. You can put spinach (and I'm assuming other greens) into a fruit smoothie and you won't taste them.
I'm thrilled about this discovery, because my kids are great about eating red and yellow and orange vegetables, but leafy greens are a crapshoot. El Chico will eat any kind of greens slathered in ranch dressing, but it's mostly about the dressing, and I'd rather have him just eating the greens.

In the past week I've made the following smoothies that went over like gangbusters with my husband and my toddler (

#1
Half a bag of baby spinach
A big handful of frozen mango chunks
Half a can of coconut milk
A splash of water to get the blender started.

#2
Half a bag of baby spinach
A big handful of frozen mango chunks
Half a banana
Enough unsweetened cranberry juice (thinned with water, because unsweetened cranberry is too strong) to make it blend.

#3
Half a bag of baby spinach
A big handful of frozen raspberries
A banana
Enough water to get the blender started.

#4
Half a bag of baby spinach
1/5 to 1/4 of a pint of Stonyfield Farms After Dark Chocolate frozen yogurt (the richest chocolate frozen yogurt I've ever had)
A banana
Enough milk to make the blender run.
I hid spinach in a chocolate banana milkshake.

Green Smoothie Recipes

The options are endless when it comes to making green smoothie recipes. Try out your own versions and experiment with the foods you have on hand. This is also a great way to use up leftover greens before they go bad. Using a little water to blend is sometimes required but the less you use, the more flavor you'll get. Of course, use organic fruits and veggies.

a really delicious green smoothie:

alkaline water

Place the cut up grapefruit on the blades of the blender, then cut up into the container the large bunch of parsley, then add the honey to taste, then fill with 2 1/2-3 cups of alkaline water and blend.

Very refreshing a nutritious.
Vicky’s favorite smoothie:
1 large ripe mango chopped and frozen
1 or 2 frozen banannas
1 bunch/bag spinach
3 or 4 cups of water (depending on how thick or thin you like your smoothie)

This is my classic Banana Berrie Superfoods Smoothie! All ingredients should be organic!

2 – 3 cups of distilled/alkalinized/energized water (less if thicker is disired!)
3-5 ripe bananas
2 cups of frozen berries(rasberries, blueberries, strawberries, ect)
1/2 avocado ***
1 tbsp of coconut oil ***
1 tbsp of spirulina/and or blue green algae
2 tbsp of barley grass powder

If bananas are not ripe enough- add agave syrup and /or xylitol!!!

*** : added for extra calories and richness
if bananas are frozen, will be like a milkshake!
Enjoy and be energized! The green superfoods I feel are the best sources of digestable protein with the added benefit of chlorophyll!

NEENERS GREEN SMOOTHIE FROM BOUTENKO
I have a favorite green smoothie recipe, which I put together after reading Victoria Boutenko's smoothie revolution book. I rotate the greens, but love the base:

1 ripe banana
1 ripe pear
1 ripe mango
2 cups "packed" greens
(Kale, spinach, mixed baby greens, swiss chard, collards, dandelion greens, etc).

The other day, I even added the greens from the organic radishes I had purchased the day before. I really love this smoothie recipe.

I forgot the one important ingredient - the 2 cups of water!

I have also used the water from a young Thai coconut, and added the necessary water to make the two cups. You can go either way with the water - more or less, depending on how much liquid you want as an end result.

Blue-Green Smoothie for One
Yield 24 ounces/710 mL (1 large serving)

This easy-to-make smoothie for one can be sipped over the course of a morning. If you find the deep blue-green color created by mixing mineral-rich kale and antioxidant-rich blueberries unusual, serve it in a mug rather than a glass.

Nutrition Note
A Blue-Green Smoothie delivers 7 grams of protein plus more than 20% of your day's supply of calcium, magnesium, and potassium, and six B vitamins (folate, niacin, pantothenic acid, riboflavin, thiamin, and vitamin B6,). Furthermore, it supplies your recommended intake of vitamins C and K and beta-carotene several times over.

2-3 cups (500-750 mL) coarsely chopped kale, firmly packed
1 1/4 cups (310 mL/180 g) fresh or frozen blueberries
1 large ripe banana, broken into chunks
1 medium-size orange, coarsely chopped
1/2-1 cup (125-250 mL) purified water

Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Add water as needed to achieve the desired consistency. Serve immediately.

Green Smoothie - #10
1 cuke
1 avocado
3 romaine leaves
3 kale leaves
parsley (small bunch)
1/2 cantaloupe
strawberries (frozen)
1 froz banana
shredded coconut
1 Tbsp mesquite
1 Tbsp flax seeds (ground)
1 tsp yacon syrup
1 Tbsp agave
pinch sea salt
2 cups water

Green Smoothie -
Rainy, damp day called for a hearty smoothie.

1 each - Swiss chard and kale, 2 celery stalks with leaves, bunch of dandelion leaves, (threw in some leftover salad greens), flax seeds (ground), apple, pear, dates.

Green Smoothie
This is the greenest green smoothie I've concocted so far. After a nice brisk walk in the sun, this was wonderfully refreshing. Give it a try

This was adapted from The Green Smoothie Queen

Refreshing Green Smoothie
4 stalks celery
4 broccoli florets
3 kale leaves
1 cucumber
1 avocado
1 apple
4+ dates
agave (optional)
pinch of sea salt
water, to desired consistency

Green Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 pound spinach
1x large mango
3x peeled bananas
1x apple
Blend until smooth and creamy.
Serves 1-2

Simple Green Smoothie Recipes Galore!
For really simple smoothies you can choose any one (or two) type of fruit and blend with any one type of tender green, such as celery, baby spinach or lettuce.
For example:

Recipe 1
5x mangoes
1x head of romaine

Recipe 2
6x peeled ripe bananas
200g baby spinach

Recipe 3
500mlx fresh squeezed orange juice
2x large mangoes
4x stalks celery
Blended up in the vitamix, all these recipes are delicious. I tend not to add any water to my smoothies these days, but if you prefer them a little less thick, then add a cup of water to the blend.

My used-to-be favorite of the fruit smoothie recipes is this delicious green smoothie with some added cacao powder for a heavenly dark chocolate flavor.
The cacao isn't such a healthy choice as it is a stimulant, and I had to give it up as my body is not a big fan of stimulants anymore.
However, I enjoyed this for a while before my body made its desires clearly known! If you are sensitive to caffeine, substitute carob powder for the cacao! I love carob powder now instead of cacao.

Ingredients
2x ripe unfrozen bananas
6-8x frozen bananas (peeled and broken into halves before freezing)
4-6x fresh dates
300-400g baby spinach
2x tablespoons of organic cacao powder

Blend the dates and the 2x unfrozen bananas in the blender first. Do not add any water.

Add the baby spinach and blend that into the banana and date mix. If you have a thick stick type thing that usually comes with most blenders, use this to help things along. It goes much faster when you use this to push the ingredients down onto the blades.

Next, add the cacao powder and blend that in.
Finally, add the 6-8x frozen bananas. Use the stick to push down onto the blades.

This makes an amazingly delicious dark chocolate smoothie delight! I am not big on the taste of greens (unlike Jaye who snacks on them as if they're crisps), but believe me, with this smoothie you don't even know you are eating greens.
You just taste chocolate milkshake heaven!
This can either serve one person for a HUGE meal or two people for a medium meal. Filling and delightful!

• 2 bananas
• 3 oranges, peeled, quartered

Lee Ann, Vitamix Demonstrator

I got my inspiration from the guy selling "Savory Stews" recipes and I combined some ingredients from the Excellent Raw Marinara Sauce provided by Joanne. I make this thick and chewy (leaving some tiny bits and pieces unblended for consistency sake - you can blend more or less to suit your taste).

This is AWESOME (to me at least)

1/2 to 3/4 of a cucumber (peeled if not organic)
1-2 medium tomatoes (home grown taste best - Campari are 2nd best for flavor if you have to buy from grocery store)
very small slice of onion
1/2 lemon (rind cut off)
2-3 pitted dates
3-5 sun dried tomatoes (I like the kind packed in olive oil - I use this brand: http://www.calsundry.com/Products/julienne.html )
1 tsp of Blend It Up Spice (the kind sold at Road Shows, if you don't have it, substitute Sea Salt)
4-6 fresh basil leaves (or a scant tsp. of dried basil)
scant tsp. of oregano

I usually pause and blend up this mixture - eventually getting to high for just a little bit (15-30 seconds or so on high) to get the dates and sun dried tomatoes really blended.

Then I add:
1 stalk celery
1/2 to 2/4 of a red pepper
2-4 cups of Greens (you pick what kind - I like Spinach and/or Romaine the best)

I blend this just enough to get the Greens mostly chewed up (so that I can pour it into a bowl and spoon it). You can blend it into a drink if you want - it's up to you how much you blend it.

I think eating green smoothies lasted for about a week and then I somehow decided I did not need them. That was back in 2005. Last September at the Raw Spirit Festival in Sedona, AZ I went back up to my friend and told her about our teeth issues and my gray hair I was getting at 36 years young. I bet you will never guess what she told me? Your right, "eat green smoothies!"
I came home and starting sneaking greens into my children's diet and started eating green smoothies every morning. In March 2009 I did a 30-Day Green Smoothie Challenge, lost 10 pounds and felt GREAT! I asked myself why not do it again? So for the month of July I am doing it again.
This time I am rereading Victoria's Green For Life and learning more and more about nutrition, our true natural health and how important greens really are.

I knew leafy greens were the #1 source of minerals for our body and the #2 source of vitamins. What I did not realize is why minerals are so important for our body to regenerate. Igor Boutenko no longer has gray hair. Victoria's wrinkles went away. I even read about a woman who adopted a baby and fed him green smoothies. His health test was off the chart.

How Do You Make Green Smoothies?
Now that you know how important green smoothies are lets make some. Its best to start with a high power blender like a Vita Mix but if you don't have one its OK!

Start by adding some sort of liquid:
• Water
• Fresh Juice
• Fresh Nut Milk

Second at 2 or more preferably organic fruits:
• Bananas
• Oranges
• Apples
• Mangoes
• Blueberries
• Strawberries
• Grapes or non sweet fruits:
• Tomatoes
• Red Pepper
• Green Apple
• Avocado
Last by not least the GREENS:
• Spinach
• Celery
• Romaine
• Dandelion Greens
• Lambsquarter or other wild greens
• Parsley
• Kale
Blend it all up and ENJOY! I like to add a bit of ice to make it a little cool.

Green For Life Recipes

If the flavor of the greens is too strong feel free to add less greens until your use to the flavor. Within about 3 days on green smoothies you may start to crave more greens. Over time fresh organic leafy greens may be one of your new favorite foods.

Overeating goes away with high nutrient green smoothies

Wow! Thanks so very much

for all your recipes and ideas!

we have had smoothies today and are now making a fruity dessert

will have to try the green drinks also

the smoothies with berries are fab,a dn while yes, you can make them in a regular blender or food processor, with this thing, the seeds and bits are just gone!

A couple more for you Sandra

Got a Blendtec in December and it's similar to a Vitamix.

My fav recipe is the Superduper Power Smoothie. My 5 year old son, 7 year old daughter, hubby and I love it. 1 cup fat free plain yogurt, 1 cup frozen blueberries (ala Costco), 1 Tbl ground flaxseed, scoop of vanilla protein powder, 1 scoop Garden Greens Acai Berry Splash, a handful of walnuts & a squirt of Agave syrup (for hubby only since he likes it sweeter).

Haven't tried many of the green smoothies but am quite happy with a big handful of baby spinach, an orange & a splash of orange juice.

Last weekend I made a great batch of frozen margaritas with some frozen limeade, tequila, triple sec, zest of a lime & ice. Everything in moderation, right?

Thanks for posting-- I will re-visit Vita now that it's summer. smileys/smile.gif

DH is not a big soup eater, so I'm still struggling with other uses for it.

Here are a couple Vitamix recipes I like that are from their demo.

These are the notes I took at their demonstration. I've made the first two. The black bean dip is easy and pretty good. You could season it more to your taste with salt, pepper, cumin, etc. The tortilla soup is a good way to use leftover tortilla chips. I haven't made the peach sorbet yet, but I bought the protein powder because the sorbet was so good.

Amanda's Black Bean Dip

1/4-1/2 c. onion
1 jalapeno (whole - cut of stem)
1 garlic clove, peeled

low to chop
dial up to 10 (mincing)

drop in jalapeno and garlic
whole lime peeled or juice of lime

speed 1

Add onion
1/2 c. cilantro
1 tomato
2 cans (15 oz.) black beans (drain beans and add)

Increase to 5 or 6
use tamper

Tortilla Soup

approx 1/2 c. slice cabbage
1 large carrot, unpeeled
2 stalks celery, include tops
chunk yellow squash
sliver of onion

Chop on low (replaces food processor) setting - chops.
Use tamper.

Add
Small tomato, whole
small bell pepper, whole (cut off stem)
garlic with peel
water
1 cube veg. boullion
southwest spice

on high
every 2 min. doubles temp. 5-6- min boil

Flip to variable, turn down to 1

Add
corn
black beans
tortilla chips

note:
1-4 is food processor
5-8 blender
9-10 puree
high breaks down, juices

Peach Sorbet

1 strawberry, frozen
