Was anyone able to print out the file of the chocolate cookbook that I emailed to

you guys? I just went to print a cover for display purposes, and it was all screwy! Then I went back into the cookbook file itself, and THAT was all off half the page! I am working on reformatting it now.

I SWEAR I printed it out several times, before, and I know I didn't do anything to it, but maybe it got corrupted somehow. It was ok last time I printed it (for the printer guy).

Please let me know here or via e-mail, if you can - I can resend it via e-mail, as I know some of you were hoping to give it to other as gifts.

Hi Dawn...i was going to keep my online (makes searching much easier) but I just did a test print

and it looks okay. I selected print pages 1-4 and didn't do anything else and it printed each page on a separate sheet, rather than next to each other as the layout looks.

Hold on, I'll check my printer options...

OKAY! I just learned something on my HP Jetprint...."select 2 sheets per page" and it prints just like I assume you formatted it.

The only edit change I made was to the Table of Contents. Every recipe was Page 3, so I "updated entire field" on the Update option and it corrected everything to the right pages.

Thanks again for a lovely option to my chocolate stash.

Dawn, I had to print each recipe on a separate page. Tried to get 2 recipes (m)

per page, but it didn't work that way for me. Of course I a not very computer literate and just did not understand how to do it any other way.

Hi Dawn...that is the same thing that happened to me,

but I am not very printer literate, so I wasn't sure how to change it to print out in booklet format. I would like to include copies in my gift baskets, so if anyone can direct me, I would appreciate it. Thanks again, Dawn.

M & D, since I don't know your printer, try these first...

Open the file, then select "PRINT".

On our Konica at work, you then have to select a button called Preferences and on that page you can tell it to print 2 pages per sheet. It defaults to one page/sheet.

On our HP at home, the multiple page/sheet is right on the window when I select Print. Again, the default is one page/sheet, so increasing it to 2 pages/sheet prints out the way Dawn designed the layout.

Give those a try. it will be under PRINT somewhere ("Options" or "Preference" or another tab).

Thanks all, for the feedback. Computer glictches never fail to amaze me, how

a file can print so differently on 2 different computers is beyond me. I didn't think I told mine to print with any special commands, but maybe it did it automatically. Oh well, maybe it had something to do with my settings here. So, for anyone having problems, see if following Marilyn's suggestions will work for you - I think you will be ok.

If not, feel free to e-mail me. Strange that all the pages would be "page 3" too - they weren't at my end (?).
