would be the first thing you would eat or drink after 68 days of what I can only think would be quite a limited selection of food?! Mine would be... hmm... a baked potato I think.

I'm waiting for one of them to say "I'm going to Disney World!" Well, I guess it would be "Me voy a Disney World!"

A very large, very icy Diet Coke and a cheeseburger

piled high with onions, tomatoes, lettuce and a side of ketchup for dipping. I actually would like that right now.

If they've been eating hydration gel and other simple stuff, they would be wise to start...

...really slowly and eat very simple fruits, fruit juices, etc. I'm thinking it would be like breaking a fast.

But, in the spirit of the thread, I'd say if I couldn't have a carne asada burrito from Silva's taco shop in El Cajon, CA, I'd take a big, drippy barbecued double cheese burger with bacon, fried onion rings (on top) and jalapeno rings. Fresh cut Idaho russet french fries cooked in fresh oil with a little beef drippings added for flavor. A side of good potato salad and an ice-cold diet Pepsi to wash it all down.

Uffta!

Gin and tonic. Lots of gin and tonic and to eat, I really like Cathy's menu. And isn't it wonderful

the rescue is going so well. Being more than a little bit claustrophobic and addicted to A/C if the temperature gets above 80, I just can't imagine what it must have been like down there.

Probably having to have had a large dose of Xanax to get me into the rescue tube, I couldn't have

alcohol, but a nice, cold glass of Coors Light would go nice with my baked potato.

I heard they sent cupcakes down for some birthdays while in there. I hope they write a book, it

would be fascinating to read. I found it nice to read that they all had their own "specialties" while down there - one was "the doctor" having had training as a nurse, another was the interviewer when they sent a videocamera down there, one ran 3 miles a day - "the trainer" - and one was the cheerleader and spiritual booster for the rest of them.

Great to hear everything is going so well and they are doing good. Still, I would'a have to have been pumped full of Xanax to make it up and out through the rescue cage!

A Rupert's plate from Herrera's Cafe-Bean Chalupa, Guacamole Tostada,

cheese enchiladas with chili gravy, rice, beans, homemade flour tortillas, chips with lots of their HOT salsa and vanilla ice cream topped with warm cajeta and chopped toasted pecans.
