We are having a spaghetti bar for my granddaughter’s birthday party.

What is the best presentation for Italian sausages?

Do you cook them first and then slice them? Or slice them when raw? What size would you recommend? Thanks!

What fun! I would cook first then slice. If you slice first they may end up dry

depending on how old the kids are, I'd cut sausage in half lengthwise then slice into half rounds. If little kids, I'd cut smaller

What a neat idea--how are you setting it up?

What's on the bar? How are you keeping the spaghetti warn--sauced?
Hope everyone has fun.

If the kids are older and would like it, you could saute sausage chunks with red bell pepper

and onions. Would be good then topped with marinara sauce and parm.
Have you considered having a ravioli offering?

Hi Mo!

we set up all the toppings on the table. We had three different
sauce in a triple crockpot-type device. She made an Alfredo sauce, a meaty sauce and a vegan sauce.
She precooked the pastas and reheated them in boiling water.
We had all the toppings; meatballs, Italian sausage, peppers, mushrooms, shrimp, chicken, Parmesan cheese, and more than I can remember. My stepdaughter made a decadent
Raspberry chocolate cake. I made antipasto skewers to go along with the bar. It was really good.
