We met Erin last night for dinner...

at Hummus Kitchen in Hell's Kitchen (9th Ave.)for a delightful first dinner in NYC of Seni'ya (tradtional stew of beef & lamb seasoned with onion, parsley, & spices topped with Tahini & pine nuts with Majadra rice) and Mediterranean Red Chicken (chicken breast marinated in Chraime Moroccan sauce: sweet and hot red peppers, lemon, cilantro, and garlic with Majadra rice and hot cilantro chili sauce--YUM!).

And wouldn't you know it, we were just so happy to be in NY that we completely forgot to take a picture of ANYTHING!

Off to the First Evening of Der Ring des Niebelungen tonight: Das Rheingold!

Oh my, I just watched the trailer for "Wagner's Dream" where they show the stage props. It will be..

...amazing!!

In is indeed an amazing event...

All of the operas were simulcast in HD in theatres over the past two years. Starting this week they are rebroadcasting them over the rest of the month. Check your local theatre listings!

We are! I can definitely do the first one...it's only 2 hr 40 minutes...but I'm wary of the 4 hr, 50

minute 3rd one. I honestly don't think my butt can sit that long.
