Week 4 menu

So, I got two swooning messages over last week's pork sugo and the green chile chicken enchiladas. YAY! (I've posted the recipes here before.)

Adapting as we go...I got a last minute update that they'd be out of town for a few days last week (so needed one less dish, unfortunately I'd already bought the ingredients.) Then this week, they've got birthday celebrations and stuff going on next week. So limited menu this week, and we're skipping next week altogether. I'm secretly happy about next week because I want to get jump on things and prepare some back up stuff for the freezer.

Feedback: I was told she really likes the "themes" I've been doing: Greek, Mexican, Middle Eastern, Japanese, etc. Love to hear that since it works with my style and frankly, I'm not sure how I'd do it differently. smileys/smile.gif

Okay, this week's menu:

- Greek Leg of Lamb stuffed with Fennel and Greens, with a side of Roasted Herb Stuffed Tomatoes (both recipes from Foods of the Greek Islands)

- Turkish Grilled Chicken Kebabs (from Food Wishes) with Ina's Middle Eastern Salad

- Lamb Steaks with an Arugula Salad and warm Stuffed Figs with Bacon, Goat Cheese, Rosemary, and Thyme (the fig recipe is from The Herbal Kitchen by Jerry Traunfeld.)

- Paul Prudhomme's Seafood Gumbo (requested. Made with the roux with gluten-free flour. It worked!)

This looks so good, I've wanted to make since you first posted. Nice to hear your clients liked it.
