I bought a 13-lb turkey for 38 cents a lb (with purchase) so I've gotta clean out the refrigerator to defrost it... right now it's in the car (40 degrees out there)!
After reading Traca's post about dessert in a glass, I have a craving for no-bake cheesecake - I'm so easily talked-into!
Yesterday went to the Farmer's Market and bought a few butternut squashes and will have butternut squash bisque for dinner, along with ham, mashed potatoes, and Brussel sprouts for dinner.
Birthday party for DH's nephew this afternoon. Taking his favorite food, garlic risotto (he's only 7).
Made Mojo de Ajo (smashed garlic sauce) yesterday, this will go into the mashed potatoes for tonight. It's been a garlicky kind of weekend...
Trying to find non-alcoholic orange bitters (I think that's what it's called) like I bought a couple of years ago. It came in a bottle and and was really good over ice cream, but I can't remember where I bought it or what it's called, although I think it had a Spanish name that began with "A".
