Went to another garage sale... oh no. Found a new food processor that actually has

all of its parts, for $1. Mine has had a loose blade for a long time.

Also a large Depression glass bowl (pink) and a set of clear glass, ribbed square tea plates with matching cups, like picnic divided ones, but glass. The square bottom of the cup fits in one of the spots on the plate. Really pretty! Now where to store them ;o).

(Edited - in my excitement, I goofed!)

I have a customer that goes to garage sales all the time.

So far she has bought me two coffee urns for $2 (electric 20 cup size), a Gevalia coffee maker $1, many glass sandwich/tea cup glass plates $5 for about 20 of them, a brand new Rival rice cooker $2, and just recently and I haven't even used it yet, an Aroma digital rice cooker for $3. It is very large, brand new rice cooker. There are amazing deals out there if you have the time. Congrats on your new depression glass dishes. I love those.
Oh, and I forgot, she has also gotten me at least 4 Nordicware cake pans. Just recently a wildflower pan that is beautiful. I think for $2. Amazing!

My mom and I like to go; although we have not gone as much this year because of weather / schedules.

We have done it since I was a kid. I used to get the best comic books! (Fun memory) Anyway, it has become treasured, fun bonding time.
