What do you eat when you have very little appetite? For the past few days, nothing turns me on,

and when I eat any of my usual stuff, it doesn't go down right, ie, it feels heavy. The only things I can stomach lately are navel oranges and chocolate (not together). Maybe that's the answer...

I go through this a few times a year, and it passes, but it's really annoying.

Cottage cheese with tomatoes. Good homemade chicken broth with noodles (no chicken)

Right before I was admitted to the hospital I was sectioning six at a time of terrific ruby red grapefruit and squeezing all the juice from the rinds into the bowl and eating icy cold bowls of wonderful sweet grapefruit with juice.

I just went through this Meryl and I still struggle a little. It is hard when you have

someone else who must eat and you can't think of a thing to make. I ate a lot of yogurt and kept those individual cups of jello with fruit in the fridge. I also found that I could eat creamy, casserole type things so I made a lot of that. I still am not eating meat, a little chicken and shrimp. What's funny is I actually put on a couple of #'s. I think my body said, "OK, if you're not going to feed me then I'll just store it when you do." So I try to eat often. It's very small amounts (I'm stressing very small amounts) but I try to eat. It is stressful Meryl and I understand. (((Meryl)))

Me four. But on the rare occasions when I have the flu, for some reason I crave grapefruit.

Add me to that list as well. But like Joe, when I'm sick and can't eat,

my backup is chicken noodle soup. If it's really bad, chicken broth.
