What else to do with nigella seeds? Here is the tart that started it all:

I haven't made it yet, but I found this yummy looking eggplant tart I'd like to make so I went out and found nigella seeds. Even a small bag is 30 times more than I need, so am looking for other ways to use it.

BTW, here's the fact of the day for you...nigella seeds come from a pretty flower we use in wedding arrangements called "love-in-a-mist"

They are the traditional topping for Jewish Rye bread.

They are also called charnushka and are used in some Indian recipes.

It's like the best of korma and butter chicken combined but with a strong coconut flavor.
