What (if any) is the difference between baked french toast, and bread pudding?

I love french toast but for some reason I can not stomach bread pudding. Everyone else loves my bread puddings but I can barely stand to be in the same room with it lol... or other peoples' bread pudding for that matter.

I don't think there is much if any difference. If you don't like yours and everyone else

does, seems to be "not a problem".

I always considered bread pudding to be "wetter" - more milk? I don't...

like it either, but I love crispy, golden French toast topped with jam and sour cream.

Exactly! (more)

I've never made or eaten baked french toast, and I'm wondering whether this is just another name for bread pudding, or if it is an easier way to get to french toast.

I'm morning-challenged lol, so anything that I can make the night before and throw in the oven in the morning while still asleep is good... especially with school starting soon. My son gets a lot of fruit salads, stratas, quiches etc for breakfast but I'm always looking for more variety.
