slices green beans into beautiful little slivers. Apparently it is a hand crank piece. It is from her Dutch MIL who used it for many years to make a specific green bean dish. Does anyone have one or know what it is called?

a friend gave me one of these but I don't remember what happened to it. I use my cuisinart to make

French cut green beans. I blanch them and stack them horizontally in the wide feed tube. Works just fine.

 
Thanks Sylvia and Janet, I showed her the Amazon picture and she

thinks that it is very similar to the one she has. She is going to bring hers in to show me. Janet, I would have never been clever enough to think of using my food processor! Thank you!
