What is this? Saw on a salad bar - spinach, blue cheese, and some sort of pasta

I think it might have been rotini. Not sure what else was in it. I tried, but it was a little blah...

frozen spinach

blue cheese

a little mayonniase

pepper

a pinch of garlic

I sauteed this, then combined it with some cooked noodles. Tried it cold, and while it was "ok" I thought I'd check to see what else might I have to add to it.

Anyone ever hear of something like this as a salad? Thanks in advance.

I found this: it seems pretty close/REC: Spinach-Blue Cheese Pasta

1 large garlic clove, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper, or to taste
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1/2 stick unsalted butter, at room temperature
4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
2 tablespoons freshly grated Pecorino Romano or Parmesan cheese, plus extra for serving
1/2 pound frozen spinach
12 ounces fusilli or penne pasta

Combine garlic, crushed red pepper, olive oil, butter, cheeses, and pepper in large bowl. Set aside.

Cook pasta in large pot of boiling salted water until almost al dente. Add spinach and cook for about 1 to 2 minutes longer. Drain pasta and spinach, immediately add to sauce in bowl, and toss.

Serve warm or refrigerate and serve cold with extra Romano cheese, if desired.
