TIKE TREAT

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 cup chopped pecans (I used toasted pecans)
1/4 cup coconut
4 bananas
1 cup lemon or orange juice (I used fresh orange juice)

DIRECTIONS:

1. Place pecans and coconut in a small paper bag.
2. Peel bananas and cut into 5 slices.
3. Roll banana slices in the juice.
4. Put banana slices in the bag and shake.
5. Put banana slices on a tray.
6. Refrigerate for 1 hour and serve.

TROPICAL POPSICLE

1 cup pineapple juice
1 banana
1/4 cup coconut, shredded (optional)
4-6 paper cups (dixie)
4-6 wooden popsicle sticks

1. Combine juice and banana in blender.
2. Blend on high until smooth. Stir in coconut.
3. Fill paper cups.
4. Cover with foil, cut a small slit in the cover of foil.
5. Insert popsicle stick.
6. Freeze.

SERVES 4 -6

Oh wow, you just reminded me I have a bottle of Cuban sour orange marinade
