What to serve with gravlox? Is toasted rye bread with yogurt cheese okay?

Any other (or alternate?)suggestions? I froze the gravlax when I made it this summer but I think I may have used too much vodka. I may even have to toss it. Should I slice it really thin?

 
hi Luisa, I usually go with tradition with gravlax, very thinly sliced red onions, a couple

of different types of mustard, thin slices of cucumber and lemon wedges. I use the tiny, long loaves of black bread you get in the markets.

I've ruined mine with too much salt, too much vodka might just be fine.

Hi Luisa, I have served the gravlax on black bread, garnished w/ lemon wedges, black pepper and Rec:

rec: Dill Mustard Sauce (From Silver Palate)

1 cup "sweet" mustard (I use dijon)
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup chopped fresh dill

Mix together...

What a treat for your guests!
