What's a good food gift for someone I don't know that lent me their laptop - for months!

When my laptop died and I took it in to recover the data. The guy who helped me lent me, at no charge, his personal laptop -- I couldn't believe someone so nice. Also he shared he didn't care if it took months to repair before getting it back...and it did.

So I'm trying to think of a way to thank him when I return the laptop, some food or something? (Money is in short supply these days.) Right now my brain is only coming up with a batch of brownies. Any ideas?

How about 6 cookie gifts...spaced out one month at a time. You can

find out his favorites and he can look forward to getting a free cookie treat once a month.

Maybe 3 or 4 different kinds of brownies?

If you don't have the time to make 4 separate batches, just quarter the batter and add various things to each quarter; bake each quarter separately; slice them in small portions; wrap and label separately. Then wrap the bunches together with cellophane, or such.

Somehow, I feel like this says "Thank you for going above and beyond" more than one regular batch would--but all the IT guys I know would happily and gratefully eat brownies in any size, shape, form, quantity, etc. smileys/smile.gif
