What's going on with my sourdough bread? I set it for the first rise at 10 this morning.

It looks like it hasn't grown an inch! The starter was real bubbly when I used it and I hate to waste all the flour I fed it with. Should I toss it and try again?

Edit: I'm posting this 4.5 hours after starting the first rise.

 
Describe your starter feeding schedule....

or tell me what other leavening was added to the dough, then I can give you an intelligent answer.

 
Three quarters of a cup of tepid water and 1 cup of flour for four consecutive days.

No other leavening called for.

 
My feeding schedule would have been

equal parts flour and water 2 to 3 times a day for 3 to 4 days before mixing the dough.
So, given your schedule, I'm not surprised at the slowness of the rise.
It will get there, just take longer. You may actually like the results better, once it gets to baking size!
