What's your favorite Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavor?I tried Mint Chocolate Cookie tonight. Delicious

Melissa--we've discovered Texas' Blue Bell here in NC--not super rich, but very good- at

a great price.

I really like the homestyle vanilla and the butter pecan--and the black walnut--and the pistachio almond--and the coffee--OK I like it all.

 
I wish they sold that here - I love their ice cream sandwiches. They sell a few of the sugar-free

novelties now in our markets, but none of the "regular" good stuff.

 
Haagen Dazs is the biggest rip off - They cut their "pints" down by 2 oz. I don't like their

ice cream anyway. Both the taste and texture have gone downhill over the years with the prices going uphill.

 
From the comparatively low fat content, it sounds like it would have a thin, somewhat icy texture.

 
Lovely & creamy. Not icy. The Homemade Vanilla is really like the real stuff.

It isn't as thick when it is melting as B&J or HD but still very good.

 
Every once in a while on anniversaries they do "blast from the past" flavors

And carry them for a few months. I heard that they did have it at the scoop shops but there is not one near here.

 
Coffee Heathbar Crunch, oooh yeah!

It's pretty much required I have Coffee Heathbar Crunch and Mint Chocolate Cookie in the freezer at all times. Also, Chunky Monkey and Cherry Garcia are in rotation.

(Fun Fact: in my last job the conference rooms on our executive floor were all named after B&J ice cream flavors. So you'd often hear folks say things like meet you in Chunky Monkey or the like.)
