What's your favorite side vegetable (not potato) to serve with roast lamb.

It's summer, and maybe some of the "classic" go-withs feel more like

fall and winter.
Asparagus and snowpeas stir fry or roasted?
Tomatoes, cucumber and onion salad--sweet vinegar dressing. Or even a little like tzatzki, with some yogurt and dill with it, but more of a salad, not dressing.
The orzo would be good--maybe made as a salad with lots of veggies added?
Grilled zucchini "planks"--marinated in oil and herbs first?

Wonderful recipes all...I am always in search of sides and veggies and now I have a few to be making

in the future. What I made last night was called a mushroom garden bake -- I think it was from the old swap and was kind of like a birami with mushrooms, brocoli, zuccini and cherry tomatoes.
Since a lot of the kids don't like veggies or lamb - I had cheese ravioli and corn fritters for them..

Thanks to all
