When I click the back button after reading a post, it goes back to the top of the page. This

has never happened to me before, although I remember others have mentioned it. The page also "jumps", or seems to load twice. Is anyone else having this problem? Can anyone who has had it in the past tell me how to fix it? Very annoying and time consuming to deal with.

 
mine has done it in the past, but has been good for a few weeks now, sshhhhhhh!

 
This also happened to me for a couple of months, about a year ago. It disappeared just as...

mysteriously as it appeared. I racked my brain for any changes I had made to my system but could come up with none. It was very annoying and it sure made it time consuming to read the posts. Sorry I can't be of any help here :eek:(

 
Thanks for replies. I'm using IE. Norton's upgrade was installed a few days ago. I went into

that and turned off all the security stuff, the problem stopped. I then experimented with turning each back on and testing to see if the problem started again. Turned everything back on, site is still working correctly. However, it had seemingly fixed itself before for a short time then resumed, so I am at a loss. Also, the problem didn't start immediately after the upgrade. As I said, this is new for me. And speaking of Norton's, it sure is different from the older versions. It no longer blocks ads, even the especially annoying ones that talk or sing to me! Arghhh! I wonder if there's a financial stake for Norton's in allowing ads?

 
Mine did this for about 4 months, then all of a sudden it stopped. But, it was a pain!

 
I noticed mine was "sluggish" today--it pops to the top, but if I'm patient it moves back down.

 
Used to, now have McAfee, came with new computer last year, had it happen with both, fine now.

 
Lol! I think you must be right! After I abandonded my black-hearted ways , the problem vanished ;o)

 
Mine looks as though is goes back to the top of the page>>>

after I hit the back button, but if I wait a couple of seconds for the page to load it automatically clicks back to exactly where I was previously. If I make the mistake of not waiting long enough and hit my mouse it stays at the top of the page. I am using IE and have Norton installed.

 
Mine goes back to the top of the page, too, but if I wait a few moments, it moves back down...

I have dial-up, so it seems to take forever to change. I use IE and Norton.

 
Not working again, mine makes that little jump, but it still lands at the top. This site's the only

site I visit that does this, and other's have IE and Norton's, so I'll quit blaming them. Perhaps when the site is changed, the problem will end.
