Where can I find medium or medium/small round cookie tins? I used to buy them at Michael's, but

I went there today, and they only had these miniscule ones that were around 3-4 inches in diameter - maybe they could hold 2 cookies. I asked one of the sales people if they would be getting in any more larger ones, and of course, she didn't know anything.

Anyway, I'm looking for tins about 7-8 inches in diameter and about 3-4 inches high. Some for cookies, some for chocolate truffles. Do you think I might find them at the Dollar Tree/Dollar Store?

I looked online and see they're sold in the Container Stores, but there isn't one around here.

Try Big Lots? They have many around Christmas time, don't know about now.

I've gotten them there too at Xmas, also try World mkt and check thrift stores.

I'd try Dollar Tree. Container Store, if they had them, would be expensisve

I second the thrift store option. I see them all the time at Goodwill.

I easily found them googling cookie tins. ULine and Container Store. Lots on eBay too.

Just called World Market - they don't have them. Three more stores to check.

Another possibility for giving is to use the "Chinese takeout

containers" at Michael's. They are in great colors and you could package the cookies in a clear cellophane/plastic bag inside to keep them fresh (in NC!!).
