Where has all the Barilla and Ronzoni Manicotti gone???

The only place I can find Manicotti is Amazon for $12 a box. This is madness. After a neighbor posted on Next Door that she could not find it, I went on a search....she was right, it is gone. I had forgotten all about it until I saw a recipe that is not baked and wanted to try it. Now I am on the hunt.

Karen, I'll check in my area. Unfortunately, this isn't a very culinary-focused area so

if it's on the shelf, it will still be on the shelf.

That is interesting. I checked on Amazon Fresh and only shells and lasagna. You can make

it by rolling up lasagna noodles.

Karen, I checked at Ingles, Publix and Walmart. No Barilla manicotti in any of them, but

other Barilla products were fully stocked. Perhaps the potential for breakage is why they aren't producing as much manicotti now?

Ingles, however, had two boxes of DaVinci manicotti. I don't know this brand, but will gladly ship it out to you if you'd like.

8 oz box, 4.5 servings of 3 pieces each. So that's...13.5 pieces? I have no clue how many pieces are actually in this box, but would downsize to 12 pieces. Cost $3.28.

Get This, Amazon wants $46 for one pack of 12....price gouging! Shame on them.

Thanks for the offer, but I think I will wait until I can get it here in town. That was very kind of you, By the looks of the packages I have been getting in the mail, that are very mishandled, I am afraid they might arrive in crumbs.

Bought Barilla manicotti last week at Safeway. Have also seen at Raleys and Walmart recently. Check

your FoodMaxx too, they usually have it. Or perhaps you can ask your grocer to order it for you or to bring it back to the shelves on a regular basis.

*Much* prefer De Cecco brand myself, Marg. They make a cannelloni tube

but it's not readily available here in my area. In the end I just find it easier to make my own pasta squares when I can't find manicotti or cannelloni tubes, it's actually faster to make them than go to the store. Or occasionally I'll make crepes and fill them.
