Line taken out by a falling tree limb in our ice storm last Friday morning. I am very greatful my power was only out briefly.

My sister is a teacher sixty miles north of here and they haven't had school since last Thursday because of so much ice on the ground.

Sadly our company Christmas lunch at a restaurant I really wanted to go to had to be cancelled.

 
Snow would have been okay. My hometown got four inches of ice.

My part of town got mostly freezing rain, so it broke trees everywhere. Most still had leaves on them so freezing rain was very bad news.

 
so glad to have you back Melissa! freezing rain is just the worst. we hate it up here when it gets

warm in the middle of winter.seriously. it brings freezing rain and turns all the streets and parking lots into solid ice. the schools close most often for ice in warmer weather than for snow in the cold.
