Which foods or ingredients do you hate? I hate ricotta, pumpkin, cloves, and white chocolate.

Raspberriies, fennel, anise, more than a whisper of nutmeg, icky bakery buttercream,

Tequila, banana by itself without something to change the texture.

Ditto on pumpkin and cloves. Add curry (although I've still never figured out wich particular spice

in the mix it is I hate hate HATE)

Tarragon, any form of coffee-flavored anything.

Yes.

Okay, hahaha! I don't know... anything I've ever tried labeled "curry" I can't tolerate at all. I've even tried adding infitisemal amounts to dishes and they're instantly ruined. smileys/frown.gif

Last time I had liver was my Grandmother's chopped liver, millions of years ago. That was good,

because it was chopped up with onion, chicken fat, etc. But regular liver - Feh! Although, I don't think I'd even like chopped liver today.

Hate? Strong words. Dislike? Mushy food, underseasoned food, living food, brains & the previously

noted black licorice.

Grape leaves. Otherwise, I love everything mentioned . Lima beans, liver, anise, fennel, licorice,

marzipan, lamb, pumpkin, curry, ricotta, bring it on! (but not all on the same plate.) Gawd I'm easy.

As for icky bakery "buttercream," if it's fake I hate it, but I love real buttercream and I'll eat it with a spoon.

I only hate fake food, overly processed food and badly cooked food. Artificial flavorings drive me crazy--they all taste like acetone, but I don't consider them food. I could put real almond extract behind my ears, though.

Oh, but I do hate grape leaves. The stuffing's OK but the leaves, no way. Every time I say this people try to talk me out of it assuming I've only had them canned, frozen, etc. I've had the best grape leaves in the world and I hated them.

I admit I'm not crazy for ouzo or anisette to drink but they're great in biscotti.

Black eyed peas...

Okra, unless it's pickled, Jello (but not all things with gelatin in them).

I don't know if I am against the taste, but the texture of tapioca and oysters send shivers up my spine.

I'm sure there are a few others, but at this hour of the morning, I'm not coming up with them.

Yellow Mustard, store-bought mayo & tartar sauce, blue cheeses, sourdough bread, Haggis

Liver. Tofu. Things that are too vinegary. Brains. Head Cheese. Blood Sausage. Badly-made gravy, blood meat.
