Whoo! Found a beautiful Japanese chef knife at the thrift store today for 99 cents!

All the thrift stores in my area are now keeping the sharp knives behind the counter in a bin, rather than out with the rest of the kitchen wares, for people to look at. They're not in an obvious place, so they're not as picked over as they have been in the past.

Today I got a great one! *grin* Just had to share. LOL

I always go to the book rack and check for cookbooks. I found A Treasury of Great Recipes by...

...Vincent Price, in great condition, for a dollar.

I tried to offer her twenty for it, but she said her boss wouldn't understand, and she had to charge what was written inside the front cover.
