Whoo hoo! My friend Catherine Reynold's first piece on Leite's Culinaria...

Great article Traca--a relative who summers in Portugal purchased a barrel from ...

Real Companhia Velha. I have one of their 85 vintage ports in the cellar.

Come for a sip?

did anyone else watch tony bourdain in the Azores? Made me start researching for a trip there.

Very Portuguese as well. One of the islands grows grapes in volcanic rock and makes a great local wine. that was so interesting----the grapes grown in little "fortresses" of volcanic rock.

And Ang, we can definitely hit up the Spanish Table. It's a great place to poke around in and located on Western--just behind the Pike Place Market. Lots of good treasures there...

Oh Charlie! I'd love to....

Funny, I had a client who asked me to help plan her wedding in Portugal. She got married in a beautiful old church and it was a wonderfully elegant wedding. We did much of the advance planning from here but once the bridezilla came out, I opted not to make the trip to Portugal. I'm bummed I didn't get to go the wedding but I'm quite confident that event would have taken a good 5 years off my life. LOL!
