Why I shouldn't go to Pinterest: salted caramel and chocolate tart

One of my friends mentioned that she read somewhere that the food and drink section is the most

viewed section on Pinterest.

Pinterest and my cafe.

Since I started preparing some of the recipes that I find being pinned the most, my business has increased tri-fold. Yesterday, I prepared my version of Chicken and Artichoke Lasagna, which had been pinned a lot, and made it into a tetrazzini and Southwestified it a bit, I have never been so busy, and I sold that dish out. Next time I will make it into a lasagna because it will be much easier to hold. I made the pasta fresh each order and that turned out to backlog me a bit.
Business is starting to pick up and word is getting around...yay!

Thanks, and more good news. I started a Sit and Stitch group on Wednesdays at the cafe and

no one ever came. I still fed customers but I really wanted to get a group going. I belonged to one in San Diego and really enjoyed it. So for the last three weeks, I sat upstairs waiting for the stitchers to come, but they never materialized. Today, a lady came in and told me she and about 5 other knitters would be coming in this Wednesday. Yay!!!

That is exciting! I would imagine that it starts with a small group and spreads by word of mouth

I plan on making it - but not neccessarily right away. My mom would LOVE

it and doesn't return from FL for another month. I'll make it then and report back:)

No, I haven't had time. I am getting ready for a big weekend at the

store and am just trying to get set with that. There will be a ton of people and I am the only food vendor. Did I say how wonderful these people are too me? They want me to succeed and are doing everything in their power to help me. I am even mentioned in their radio ads this week. I am truly blessed.
