edited to add: I used ancho chili powder too, might try a different chili powder next time to see how that turns out. The chili powder definitely adds a unique flavor to the dish...shakes it up from regular beef stroganoff. I'd also like to try it some time using a less expensive cut of beef, like maybe top sirloin or sirloin tips.
