Wondered if anyone has tried the new "GreenPan" non-stick cookware?

Sorry if this was already discussed and I missed it. Here's the article that was in the paper recently. Sure sounds good, but was hoping to get some real-life feedback before I order.

Belgium-based Thermolon Technology's GreenPan cooking line is a set of nonstick pans that tolerate high temps and the dishwasher, and resist the flaking and scratching of conventional nonstick skillets.

The secret is in the coating, a "ceramic-based nano nonstick" coating that can tolerate up to 850 degrees. It has the look and feel of enameled cast-iron.

The interior of the pans is smoother and feels stronger than traditioal nonstick. The pan performed exceptionally well frying eggs and making pancakes with no oil.

The company says that production of its nonstick coating is environmentially friendly (requiring half the energy of traditional coatings) and does not use polytetrafluorethylene, the key component of most traditional nonstick coatings.

Jada, Todd English introduced these pans on HSN about a month

ago. If you want to check them out, go to HSN and write in Todd English in the find area. I did order them, but then changed my mind until I read some reviews from those that did order and used them. To be honest, I haven't checked to see what the outcome was. i must say the prices were very good, for what they were offering. They also have a wok set that looked interesting. Let me know what your opinion is, if you take a look see.

Thanks, MIA & Luisa, I'll let you know if I try, look forward to hearing more about these.
