Would you eat a year-old frozen ham?

My mother had a Kirkland ham, not spiral, in the bottom of her refrigerator freezer. It reads: Freeze by February 2016,

Safe? Quality?

Not a problem at all for safety. And it will be fine for eating. I think the

directions will be to put it in a pan with water and cover with foil. Be sure to follow whatever directions, and don't over cook. I'm pretty sure they are already fully cooked so need to be heated through.

Anna, your ham will be just fine to bake.

Check to see if it has any freezer burn- if so, cut that off before you bake it. You can use a glaze or whatever you like to do with ham normally. No need to treat it any special way.

Like finding a "treasure" in the freezer!
