Writing to Soldiers? Off topic

I know that some of you have sent Christmas or cookie packages to soldiers. I have a group who are interested in connecting with a soldier through either writing, email and/or packages. Does anyone have information about what group is best (honest) to adopt, support, write to, send care package to a soldier? I see some that are .com or .org, but don't know where they are legit or best. Any advice?

 
I replied in #16581 with link for info on what to send, the group I use for addresses, & USPS info.

While we are not Mothers of soldiers, there is a chapter in Chattanoog (close to us) that I am sure can provide some information.
