very close to work and not too far from my house--I can't wait!!

(Just had to get that outta my system. Don't know anyone who will appreciate the excitment as much as you guys will!)

 
Lucky you! I was able to visit a Penzeys store last fall and it was just awesome. They had samples

out that you can smell, really interesting for things like cinnamon when there are so many different kinds. They are opening new stores all the time, perhaps more of us will get lucky.

 
Would that be in Fairfax County? (hope so!) I went to a Penzeys in Minneapolis

and had a field day buying stuff last year. That extra fancy Vietnamese cinnamon is wonderful.

 
Ann its Broad Street Falls Church. I got a postcard on Sat from them....

Broad Street is Rt 7. I didn't check to see if it is towards Tysons or toward 7 Corners. I can give you the address when I go home tonight.

Are you in Fairfax? I am just behind the NOVA campus.

 
Thanks Barbara. Yes we're just west of Fairfax (city) not far from

Fair Oaks Mall. This is great news about Penzeys. I hadn't seen any mention of opening a store in this area in the last few catalogs. I'm ready to shop!

 
Keep a tight grip on your wallet - once you can smell and see those beautiful spices

you will have a hard time not buying one of everything just to try it (at least that's what happened to me)!
