YAY!!!! F&W just announced their Best New Chefs of 2008...and my chef is on the list!

I did PR for Ethan Stowell (What's that the Army says about the "Toughest job you'll ever love???" Yeah, it was something like that.) Anyway, part of my job was to attract culinary who's who...and get him on their radar.

Check it out...not only has he been named one of Food & Wine's Best New Chefs...I just learned he's been nominated for a James Beard Award! Holy hell....I'm doing the Snoopy dance over here!!

I emailed him and told him about Traca's chef. Just got one back and he said

Jeremy Fox, the vegetarian chef from Napa, was in for lunch on Friday and he had a nice talk with him.

Besides saying it was extremely tiring he didn't say much about cooking there. He commented on some things he thought were "weird" > kimonos framed and hanging from the walls, outdoor shower in the courtyard.
