The menu will be -

Appetizer - Samosa

Dhal - Moong

Vegetable dish

Chicken Curry

Chapati / Bronta

Rice dish

(I love Indian food, but I've never heard of a bronta ('cept for the "saurus" kind).)

Anyone have any tips for me?

Stuff like this doesn't happen every day, over here, which is why I'm so excited about it. smileys/smile.gif Prague has decent Indian food (including a dhaba place with rock-bottom prices), but it's difficult to find good ingredients, so maybe the chef (Narinder Singh) will reveal her sourcing secrets. smileys/smile.gif

Czech please. Good pun. I think the best thing you can do is be sure to find the source of

the ingredients locally.

And I wonder if there are 'rules' about what to serve with what.

Have fun!!

Sorry, I meant, inside my message... Dosas, samosas, dal... yum. smileys/smile.gif (Thanks!)

Good question re: what to serve with what, Marg; I'll ask. smileys/smile.gif

climate, proximity to the sea...and so on.

There is a fabulous Indian restaurant in London that visits a different province for its menus, every 3 months.

I was never there long enough at one time, to follow the schedule but it would be fun to know what the variations are and why.

Sure, but the class was postponed until next weekend because the AC in the kitchen wasn

Oops, I hit "Enter" too soon...

...postponed b/c the AC wasn't working in the kitchen where the class was going to be held.... (?!)
