Yikes!! The election-day apple pie that I bought at a local

bake sale had a bottom crust that was completely uncooked. I called to tell/warn them, but they had already left. I wonder how many other disappointed customers they'll have. It was for a good cause, though, so...

The apples were fine, top crust was even not bad (but very light brown - that should've been the first clue to them). Can I fix it? It's in the oven right now on the bottom shelf, 350. I thought about 3/4 of an hour? Will this work? Longer, not that long? It's already smelling better than it tasted!

In other words, can you rebake a pie once it's half-baked (heheh)?

I say it's worth a try. I have judged pies before and . . .

Have had some very tasty ones but then I find the bottom crust is uncooked or under cooked; it is so disappointing. I find putting my pies in glass pans and then baking on a very heavy pre-heated pizza stone always cooks my bottom crusts.

Go ahead, you can't hurt anything and you might make it better!

Gaack! Oh nooooo, this doesn't work. Looks like I'll be using it as a cobbler, over

ice cream. Also good!
