He's off to bed now (at 9:48).
I'm so very pleased because I've been cooking up a storm for him with my T & T specials that are low in fat and sodium since he's been out of the hospital/rehab a couple of weeks ago. His appetite has been very lackluster until just recently. I can tell that his tastebuds were awakened with this delicious and popular recipe that you posted! He said that the orange sauce was delicious!!
This time, I followed your recipe to the tee and used 3.5 normal-sized Florida tangelos. I never had them before but they were truly sweet and most indigenous down here. Dad even ate half of the tangelo that was left over before I served dinner.
I'm flying back to Philly tomorrow and will drive back down within two weeks with my pooch. I told Dad that he has about four meals left of the Easy Orange Chicken and THAT makes me feel really good!!
Tipping my hat to you Meryl!
