I made quasi-Lembas for a shieldmaiden moot. Basically, they were shortbread, but I wrapped each

one in leaves cut from green tissue and tied with raffia.

Is THAT geek enough for you?

Christmas present dilemma for DD#2 solved - those great books! What a fabulous (literally) site!

Oh my! I promised to bake for our robotics end of season party tomorrow.....

I have diet tonic water, but no agar. I might try this with gelatin, to see if it works, it would be such a hit! Mini tartlets with a chocolate robot floating on top of the jelly. And I have graham crackers so could make an easy crust.
