Your recommendations for "recipe software" for a MAC, please.

I finally got fed up with my not-even-2-years old Dell PC and bought a MacBook over Christmas. I want the flexibility to use it in the kitchen and also to scan/import/get rid of 8 linear feet of stacked recipe paper copies.

I've heard good things about Living Cookbook, but its software is for a PC. I would then need to buy another piece of software that will mimic my Mac being a PC, doubling the price. And somewhat defeating my attempt to mentally switch over to a Mac operating system.

All advice welcome, including the most effective way to reduce the paper clutter.

charlie, I just went out and read the reviews...lots of good and a few bad. Did you

run into the issues with nutritional information being wrong and turning on options?

The Nutritional info is an add-on that I haven't as yet purchased. What was the problem others had

turning options on?

I can't vouch for the nutritional accuracy, but overall I like the program. It allows..

you to easily make a clipping of a recipe by highlighting it. There are a couple of web sites that allow you to copy right into the program with one click (including picture). Epicurious allow this on most recipes.

I don't like the search as much as MC.

I had no problem with installation and downloaded all of my MC files easily.--there was some clipping of long ingredient descriptions.
