Yummly article on kitchen "mistakes"

I have noticed more and more recipes calling for a specific salt and giving amouts

for a substitute. Really a good idea. I have so many different types of salt, it makes my head spin, many are gifts from friends and family who buy things for me when they travel. I prefer to use coarse sea salt because I can feel it better when I grab a pinch. However, since I am gullible to buying products I see chefs use, I did buy a carton of fine sea salt so I could learn to apply from above evenly, and I am not liking it much. LOL

I just bought some "fancy" pink salt that is so fine, well, I have to use it very sparingly.(Nt)_

Himalayan Pink Salt? I have very coarse pink salt in a salt grinder

but forget to use it. I will put it out on my stove area and start using it. So many salts out there to try. Some live up to their name, others do not.
