yummy chocolate syrup

I made this on a whim when my brother showed up with ice cream. It was great! I brought the sugar, corn syrup, and water to a boil to dissolve the sugar then turned the heat down to low and gradually whisked in the cocoa. It looks dubious at first but comes together after a few minutes. One reviewer said it crystallized a little after refrigeration - let me know if that happens!

 
I only made half of a batch.

What we didn't eat, I sent home with my brother because I have no willpower when it comes to chocolate. I will ask him if he refrigerated it and report back. I remember seeing somewhere that the refrigerated portion should be warmed in a water bath before service.
