download the Kindle app, from the App Store, to your iPad. Then from the Amazon page where you bought the book there will be a link that says open in kindle. This way the book will be in full color which it will not be on your Kindle (Unless you have a fancy full color, Kindle). I read books all the time using the Kindle app on my iPad. Most digital books from the library can be opened on your iPad with the Kindle app..

I’m “thumbing through it” now. It’s a huge volume (!) leaning toward international recipes. Can’t wait to try some of these!

Marilyn, I believe you can download the Kindle app on your iPad. I'm pretty certain DH did it on his.

Their recipe for carnitas seems overly complicated, cutting the meat into 2” chunks and stating most pp cook it in liquid, and I don’t make them that way either.

I missed this post earlier and when I click on it now the price is $18.99. Since I already have a Milk Street subscription, I can get amy of the recipes they publish for no additional cost.
