product works wonderfully well, and I love it!
As a note to those of you who mentioned its price tag--I read a review written at amazon.com, and after I received my order of Whip It a couple weeks ago, I followed that person's recommendation (below) with fantastic results which will cut the cost of using Whip It in half==>
***** This stuff really works!
I was always disappointed with how quickly whipped cream seemed to "fall apart". This product solves that problem perfectly, and doesn't change the flavor or appearance of the cream. However, I find that using one packet per pint of cream is more than sufficient to give me long-lasting whipped cream. The mfr recommends using two packets.

Caryn live again: I measured, and each packet of Oetker's Whip It contains about 1 tablespoon of Whip It powder so I simply use 1-1/2 teaspoons per cup of whipping cream.
Again, my deepest appreciation to Luisa_Calif, CynUpstateNY, Steve2 in LA, Meryl, Jack Butler (whoever he may be!) and anyone else I overlooked at FK for recommending this wonderful stabilizer!
