A new (to me!) cocktail from Harry's Bar in Venice: Buona Notte.

test2

The recipe for the "Buona Notte" cocktail is as follows:
- ½ unpeeled lemon, diced into small pieces
- a tablespoon of cane sugar
- a strip of cucumber peel
- a ginger round
- 3-4 drops of angostura
- Pestle well, then add:
- 50g of Vodka
- 50g of cranberry juice
- Complete with ice flakes.
Serve in an old-fashioned glass with a straw.

When Ina says it, it kind of has this, "Elvis has left the building" ring to it. Cracks me up!

OK. You guys are messing with me. Eva's recipe uses lemon & I thot Richard's used lime. But now

it's gone. I like the combination of cranberry and lime as in a Scarlett O'Hara so I hope I'm not remembering incorrectly cuz that's what I'll try (first).

Along with memories of dinner alfresco on the Grand Canal.

head waiter

Has Claudio Ponzio retired??? He was the long-term head bartender at Harry's. Gosh, that would be the end of an era.

Marg, I watched the bartender make it in the video, he used a lime...

every recipe I've seen uses a lemon. I prefer the lime as well. I posted the recipe in my original post, no idea what happened to it.

Richard it is there. I believe I have resolved the text issues and the posts

should be normal now
