A strange thing in the cooking world!

I like the Maitre Jacques brand, but it's hard to find. Right now I'm using Colavita from WF. It's

Italian and okay. Whole Foods has several out of CA but I wasn't familiar with any of them and didn't want to spend a lot as I go through it pretty quickly, usually for salad dressing.

I also have Maitre Jacques sherry, tarragon, and white wine vinegars.

Food Network magazine recently had an article where chefs named favorite brands. I was surprised at

some of the responses.

I saw that Bradley Ogden- The Tavern at Lark Creek, Larkspur, CA

prefers Sparrow Lane vinegar.
