America's Test Kitchen Gluten-free Chocolate Chip, using ATK's GF flour blend.

RECEIVED!! It's amazing you can get ziplocs of white powder thru the post office these days!

Thank you so much...I will post my review of the cookies next week smileys/smile.gif

xantham gum: where do you buy it in small amounts? The bag at Whole Foods is

$11.99 and the same bag at the natural food store is $16.79!!! Can't you get just a small spice sized jar anywhere?

I work in a small office and TWO people are gluten free. I bake so much and usually bring some in but haven't lately because I don't bake GF. I would like to occasionally like to bring something the two GF gals can have too.

Speaking of white powder thru the post office...I'll send you some! I haven't seen small amounts.

Not sure why that is because you you use such a small amount. I got the bag at Sprouts or Whole Foods. Let me just check that I have your address.

No...I made a hazelnut milk chocolate bundt cake (screwed that up by using Irish Creme liquor

instead of Frangelica, which totally staged a coup and monopolized the flavor profile of the entire cake. Rat bastard.

And then I made strawberry shortcake test run. Tasty but kind of dry.

So...no room for GF cookies. Plus my GFBCL (Gluten-free baking confidence level) is really low. Never seems to work out well enough to be worth the calories/expense.
