Ang or Maria - have you made Ina Garten's Lemon Cake? If so, do you think it would freeze well?

I haven't made the pound cake but they usually freeze

VERY well. I would not put the syrup or the glaze on until ready to serve. For the syrup, let the cake thaw completely and poke the cake with thin thin skewers and pour it over.
It "might" be OK to do it before freezing also, but not the glaze for sure.
It looks like a TERRIFIC recipe. I don't think you can go wrong. Just don't over cook--the only thing about a pound cake that is "bad".

 
I have made her lemon yogurt cake and it freezes well. very similar recipe. the yogurt cake is

more "airy" than a poundcake, so I think the poundcake would freeze even better since it's more "solid".

 
As a whole I think pound cake freezes well...

This is a very moist cake. I haven't done it but I still think it would freeze fine.

 
I've got to say, this is an AMAZING, delicious pound cake!! It's keeping well in the fridge.
