Not one person has mentioned recipes... mousewich, rat kebobs... yup, I know I need help smileys/smile.gif

Hey, bats are good too! they eat lotsa flying insects (MOSQUITOS!). . .

But I can understand not wanting them in your attic.

Reminds me of "Never Cry Wolf" where the guy takes mice and. . .

boils 'em up and eats them whole, to prove a large predator could live on mice, at least part of the time. . . Mousie appetizers!

Gotham Vermin...

I was playing in an orchestra for a benefit concert in the ballroom of the Plaza Hotel, Murray Perahia was at the piano...and Jerry the mouse was having playtime under the Steinway grand during the entire concert. I swear that mouse was doing backflips. LOL

And...I lived over the Red Apple Grocery at 70th and Broadway and there was a hole in a lower cabinet. We had the BIG stretch Manhattan cockroaches and we assumed they came through this hole. You could hear these bad boys running across the counter from the living room. I had a sick and twisted roommate who thought it was a great idea to spear said bugs through the thorax with these little hors d'ouvre flag picks that said I¢¾NY and throw them back down the hole.

I found one on the floor of the Big Apple when I was shopping.

I just turned and left the store laughing uncontrollably as people stared at me like I was mad.

I¢¾NY!!!

Edit: Well, ¢¾ is a heart in hex, but apparently not on this system. Oh well.

I was always amazed that evolution has allowed

the rats to change their coats to the color of the subway track floor. Or maybe they were just covered in the same filth as the subway floor. LOL

Remember one major important thing tho.........

not cat lovers we aquired a wee bedraggled thing when it came meuwing for food one evening...it is sweet but has awful cat habits of eating the caught rats on the Turkish carpets and leaving the tails and heart for us to find...I would never get rid of her but Ucky and even more ucky...these rats she is bringing down the population of bring her tape worm...I believe this is normal...please have you cats dosed for this....Urghh...
BUT there seem to be fewer rats around us these days...here they call them 'tree monkeys' they live in the palm trees usually just inside the branch that has the one coconut you want to chop down...they jump like monkeys when you climb up to get said coconut....again urgghhhh!

LOL! Only when I am desperate smileys/smile.gif It is an unkown fact that geckos actually prefer gingerbread..
