Anyone acknowledging Earth Hour tomorrow evening?

AngAk...is this show like the Vagina Monologues???.......

we went to see the local production. Well firstly, for a local show, it was extremely proffessionally done and as most of the cast had never been on stage like this, it was hilarious yet extremely good.
We are still talking about it......now I am very keen to see the show you saw.

It's a musical, with parodies of songs from the 60s/70s/80s and a few older songs. like

Heat wave: "I'm having a heat wave, a PERSONAL heat wave. . . ". The funniest to me was the song "In the jungle the mighty jungle the lion sleeps tonight", well, the words were so funny and the "awimaway awimaway" chant was" she's a witch, ah she's a witch, ah she's a b$tch ah she's a b$tch ah. . .". and how the husband sleeps in the guest room or the couch and then the other ladies promise that "the husband will be back". It is set at Bloomingdal's store in NY with 4 ladies who meet in the lingerie dept and have this in common---at various stages. It was a fun ladies' night out.

We had the grandie-sprogs staying over. Had a candle lit dinner....

of fish pie and salad. They had asked for it earlier and were not up to the suggestion of cooking 'another' braai...we cook over the coals so often.

This show is hilarious! I saw it last summer, and laughed so hard tears were STREAMING down my face.

You can't keep you fingers and feet still, tapping to all the tunes we knew from our youth. Here's a link to the show's website. If you have chance to see it, DON'T MISS IT, and TAKE YOUR HUSBAND!
